Hello everybody! In today’s post I’ll be sharing with you some ideas of gifts that you can get for the book lovers in your life this Christmas. I’ve included links to various websites and shops where you can find the items from this gift guide. And aside from the items listed below, in case you want to do some further exploring of your own, Etsy is always a great place to shop for bookish goodies and merchandise. You can also find awesome products on both Redbubble and Society6, where you can purchase all sorts of fan art on various products of your choice including apparel, mugs, art prints, notebooks and even phone cases.

1. Art prints
If you are looking for something a bit unique, why not get your friend an art print inspired by their favourite fandom? There are so many amazing artists out there who create beautiful artwork inspired by books and book characters. My favourite places to shop for art prints are Redbubble and Society6. You can choose from a variety of types of prints and the quality of the prints is usually pretty good. You can also choose between different sizes of art prints. Just visit Redbubble or Society6, type in your fandom of choice and in the ‘Products’ section, click on ‘Art Prints’ to narrow down your search.
2. Bookish lip balms

Bookish lip balms are great either as gifts or as stocking fillers. My favourite bookish lip balms are the ones from the Etsy store Starlit Ink Designs (formerly Litbalms). You can find them on Instagram here. Their lip balms are super hydrating and they smell amazing.
3. Magnetic bookmarks

Honestly, any bookmark would make for a nice gift for a book lover. But the reason why I prefer magnetic bookmarks, aside from them being darn cute, is that once you clip them on to the pages of your book, they’ll never fall out. I always carry around books in my bag whenever I’m out and about, and whenever I use regular bookmarks, they often fall out of my books and get torn or crushed in the sea of junk in my bag. Magnetic bookmarks though tend to be sturdier. My favorite place to shop for magnetic bookmarks is Happy Hello Art on Etsy. You can also find them on Instagram here.
4. Fandom jewelry
Necklaces inspired by the Grisha trilogy by Elissa J Designs
If you know your friend’s favorite book or fandom, why not get them a cute necklace inspired by it? My store of choice for necklaces inspired by books is Elissa J Designs on Etsy. You can also find them on Instagram here. I’ve bought quite a few necklaces from this shop inspired by some of my favourite book series, such as Throne of Glass, ACOTAR and the Grishaverse, and Elissa’s necklaces never disappoint.
5. Enamel pins
Is the person you’re shopping for a pin collector? If so, why not get them some pins inspired by their favourite books? Fable and Black has some amazing ones. You can also check out their Instagram here.
Who doesn’t like to sip a nice cup of tea or coffee as they curl up with their favorite book? You can find mugs featuring art from your favorite books on websites like Redbubble and Society6. Simply type in your fandom of choice (e.g. ACOTAR) and in the ‘Products’ section click on ‘Mugs’ to search their wide selection of mug designs for the one that best suits the person you are shopping for.
7. Bookish candles
Candles are always great gift ideas. There’s nothing like burning a nice candle to immediately makes things extra cozy. There are many online stores that sell amazing candles inspired by all your favourite books. One that I would like to recommend is Wick and Fable. I’ve bought a bunch of their candles now and they never disappoint! Not only do they smell amazing, but they are absolutely beautiful when you light them up. As the candles burn, the liquid wax actually shimmers! To find out more about Wick and Fable, you can visit their store here or check them out on Instagram here.
8. Book box subscription

Depending of your budget, you can also opt to pick a book box subscription or a standalone box for your loved one. Book boxes can usually either be bought through subscriptions (usually monthly or quarterly) or through single purchase, whereby you can buy a single box without having to subscribe to the full subscription service. Book boxes are packages filled with book themed merchandize. Some boxes focus on specific books and fandoms, while others follow specific themes. There are many awesome shops to choose from, but my two go-to book box shops are definitely Magic and Mischief and Fae Crate. I recently did a feature article on Magic and Mischief where I interviewed Fatima, the owner and creator of the shop. You can check out the article here if you want to find out more about Magic and Mischief.
9. Gift card for book shopping
Still unsure on what to get for your book loving friend? Or maybe you want to gift them some books but you’re not sure what they already own? Gift cards are always a safe choice! If you know their favourite bookshop, you can try to see if they have gift cards available. If not, you can simply send your friend a gift card from Amazon.
So that’s it for today’s post. I hope you were able to get some ideas from this list. If you have other ideas that you would to suggest, feel free to let me know in the comments! Happy shopping everyone ^^
